Lately Arthur has one true love, cars. Anything on wheels to be more precise. He just loves them. So when the lovely people at Fisher Price asked if he would like to review the brand new Fisher Price Blaze and the Monster Machine Animal Island Stunt Speedway, we jumped at the chance.
It arrived at the start of last week, it was soon out of the box and set up. He has not stopped playing with it since.
Brand new from Fisher Price, this Blaze and the Monster Machine Animal Island is inspired by the new Wild Wheels theme from the television show. It comes exclusively with new vehicle, Lion Blaze. To top it off, it can be connected to any of the other Blaze and the Monster Machines tracks.
Putting it to the test
The track comes with 4 stunt slides for Lion Blaze to explore. Additional Monster Machines are available separately to add to the fun. As soon as Arthur got to play with it he spun Lion Blaze quickly down the water slide. Watching Lion Blaze fly through the wooden doors, Arthur was in his element.
Another of the stunt slides is on the back of the track. The vertical drop slide. See Lion Blaze roar down the slide at full speed, but watch he doesn’t run under any furniture at the bottom!
There is the tumbling tree drop, Lion Blaze can zoom straight down the tree to reach the bottom in no time at all.
And finally the upside down cave track. Arthur was so impressed that Lion Blaze actually goes upside down through the cave. It is definitely his favourite track, and probably mine too.
As you can see from the photos, Arthur is really enjoying his new toy. I was a little concerned that he might get bored of it, but although he has only had it a week, I can’t see him getting fed up of it any time soon. It is literally the first thing he grabs when he comes home from school.
If you are already thinking about Christmas, which I am. This would make the perfect addition to any car lovers collection. It is suitable for 3 years and above and has an RRP of £49.99, check it out on Smyths Toys here where it is actually on offer at the moment.
We also made a little video review, so to see it in action take a look at this video.
