I am going to be sharing a selection of Christmas gift guides over the next couple of weeks. I’ve decided to start with gifts for Her. It gave me a chance to think about what I would like for Christmas this year and what I will be thinking of buying for other female friends and family.
When thinking about what I would like for Christmas I really struggle for ideas. There are lots of things that I would love, but most of them aren’t financially realistic! So I am sticking to ideas that are more reasonable, and all under £100.
Christmas Gifts for her
Here are a few things, that are either on my wish list, or that I own and love. I think they would make great gifts this Christmas.
Starting at the top, I have picked out the My Mindful Journal. This is from Paperchase. I adore Paperchase and I don’t know many women that don’t love a bit of pretty stationery. This little journal contains prompts to remind you to be mindful of your well being. I think its a lovely idea especially for busy women that often forget to take care of themselves.
Next up some sparkle from Pandora. I have wanted a Pandora ring for so long. I took ages choosing which design to feature because they have so many beautiful rings, but eventually I decided on this elegance classic ring. It is simple and beautiful with enough sparkle to make you feel a little special.
I couldn’t have a ladies gift guide without a bag. This tweed every day bag from Joules is another classic piece. It looks roomy enough for the essentials, without being too big. And I think the tweed design will be great to work with so many outfits.
Time to get cosy on those winter nights. One thing I really want for Christmas this year is a new dressing gown. Again I like to keep things simple and I love this plain grey dressing gown from Next. It looks super soft and perfect for cosy nights on the sofa.
Something a little more practical, this Morphy Richards Total Control soup maker. I got one of these a couple of weeks ago, and it has been such a great gadget. So many gadgets are used once and left in the cupboard but not this. Lots of my friends have mentioned wanting one themselves when I told them about it too. So it may be practical, but I think this would make a great Christmas present.
Everyone loves a candle, and I think with so many candles on the market you can always find something suitable for a gift. This Juniper berry and Cedar wood one from AEQUILL smells divine, again has a simple yet classic design, and when it runs out you can order the refill and just send the jar off to be refilled.
Busy mums need all of the help they can get staying organised. I have used many diaries and organisers over the last few years, but this year I am back to this Family Life Book from Boxclever press. It has columns for each member of the family and a section for meal planning. Also featuring monthly to-do lists and budget planners, It makes staying organised so much easier.
Finally, I have a Fitbit Charge 2 in Rose Gold and lavender. I love it, I wear it every day, and on odd days when I forget I feel lost. However, I am really keen on getting a new band so I can have a change. Fitbit sell these leather bands in blush pink, tan and indigo and I think they look really smart.
Preparing for Christmas
We are about half way through our Christmas shopping. I always try to be finished by the start of December to avoid panic buying. My biggest tip for staying organised is to make a list, and stick to it. Plan what you would like to buy for each person, how much you plan to spend. Be realistic and try to stick to it.
I hope this list has offered you some inspiration, good luck with your Christmas shopping this year.
