Thomas and Friends MINIS Motorised Raceway {Review}

With Christmas is just around the corner we have been busy planning our gifts. Today, I am sharing a toy review that would make the perfect present for little ones. Recently, Arthur was sent the Thomas and Friends MINIS Motorised Raceway.  Perfect for children aged 3+, I thought I would let Arthur show you what he loves about it.

When the box arrived Arthur was very pleased to see Thomas and Friends. He has a couple of the MINIS trains already and a selection of bigger Thomas trains.

The Thomas and Friends MINIS Motorised Raceway comes with 2 MINIS trains, Thomas and James. Arthur started playing with the MINIS while I put the track together.

Soon the track was built and trains were spinning around. Arthur didn’t want to share it with Harry and Matilda, although both of them were keen to get a look at it too.

The track has one central motorised track which takes Thomas or any of the MINIS Friends up to the top of the mountain.

At the top of the mountain is a track selector. Arthur enjoyed selecting the different tracks and watching Thomas whizz past.

Race upside down on the yellow track before heading back up the mountain. Quickly change tracks onto the loop-the-loop and watch the trains shoot down the hill and around the loop.

Finally shoot down the blue track to go over the bridge and back to the bottom of the mountain.

At the top of the mountain sits Cranky the crane. Cranky has two hooks for the trains so they can be moved around. Arthur has enjoyed spinning the trains around on Cranky as quickly as possible!

When I asked Arthur what he thought to the toy this is what he said

I love it Mummy, this loop track is like a roller-coaster, and Cranky is so strong.

He has played with it a lot, and the laughter and smiles say it all. He loves his new Thomas and Friends track, and I am sure he will be adding more MINIS figures on to his Christmas list this year.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for gifts for preschool age. It isn’t too big and bulky, which is always handy. It doesn’t fold away but it’s not too big to have out ready for play.

Fisher Price sent us this toy in return for an honest review.
